For “Arts and Crafts Thursday”* we made a foldable to summarise the formula in the topic Series and Applications (Topic 7 in the NSW BOS Mathematics Syllabus).

In the above I used one piece of A4 paper. In class I gave students three halves of portrait orientated A4, making the end result slightly bigger. Either way can be punched with a two hole punch and secured in their folder.
Obviously this could be spiced up with colour etc. I suggested to the students that they use the upper side of the flap to add examples.
* renamed from Arts and Crafts Friday due to 2013 timetable.
