Would numeracy levels improve…?

Just thinking during the staff development day.

Would numeracy levels improve if other faculties devoted same amount of time to numerical problem solving as they do to persuasive writing?

Doesn't even have to be same amount of time....a bit more time must surely help. I think also a bit more awareness and less down-talk like 'sorry that you have to do a bit of maths but these calculations are important'.
