An embarrassing, and slightly funny, example of why Mathematics is important (in this case, being able to read a calendar).
F minus: official ad gets back-to-school date wrong
Ads placed in The Sydney Morning Herald and The Daily Telegraph today tell parents public school students go back to school next Tuesday, February 3, after a staff development day on Monday, February 2.
But most students are today savouring their last day of the summer break before school resumes tomorrow.
