MathsClass

A blog about teaching and learning in a maths classroom.

A resolution

Thursday, 17 April 2014 | 0 Comments

I have made a resolution to write more regularly on this blog. Pretty sure everyone with a blog has said that at least once, I've probably said it... oh... wait.

Why now?

  • The enterprise social network of my employer is undergoing another change. Whilst an excellent forum, contributions in the maths community have slowed.
  • My favourite client for Twitter is no longer, and signal:noise on Twitter seems to be decreasing.
  • I had been publishing a lot of summaries about updates to my resource sites, but not talking about why I made them - I think explaining resources is more important.
  • Dan Meyer gave another inspiring talk, this time about perplexity, Opening Keynote for CUE 2014.
